How Odd- Everyone Has A “Truth”

All of us are driven by something. There is a reason we get up everyday and do our thing over and over and over. How interesting it is to hear what people say when asked what their something is. Some say money, others say success. I have had guys say women and women say finding the perfect man. It seems, however, the most common “somethings” are very much nothings. Things short lived or trival. Pretty much just thngs.
I used to be all about nothing. Paper chasing, boy crazed, and living for all the things that were in reality killling me slow. How empty my world was when it appeared to be full. I always had a group of friends around, a place to be, a job to do, a drug to take, and all the while I was at a dead stop on the freeway of life. I was driven by nothing and as a result I was going nowhere. I was miserable and started acting that way and all those things began to disappear.
God smacked some sense into me 8 yrs ago and asked me “You need your boat, you need your oars, but where exactly do you think you are rowing?” I panicked. He was right! I had nowhere to row and nothing to row back to. He forced me to get honest and as soon as I did, I got Him. The truth. The Light. The Way.
My life has never been the same since I made the decision to be honest with myself and with others. Now my drive is at light speed, no pun intended, and I live to tell others just how alive you can be if you allow the One who gave you life to be your something to live for!
With God as your source of purpose and your main priority you are UNSTOPPABLE. He will show you why you are His and all the other somethings you sought after will be added to you if they serve you well.
Truth. It is what we all search for. It is what we all stand for. God is truth. Once you become an unstoppable man/woman of God and receive the favor that comes with honoring Him above all else, you will never want for anything ever again. True story…. Just sayin.
Be honest, be unstoppable, be a light that shines for others.

I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you (Philippians 3:14 – 3:15 NKJV)
